What is Ballet FolklÓrico?


Ballet Folklórico is a discipline of Mexican Folk dance that is performance based.

Why should I or my child take Ballet Folklorico classes?


There are many reasons to take classes and each persons answer may be different. A few reasons are:

1. It's fun and I get to meet other people who appreciate Mexico and its culture.
2. It's educational and culturally relevant because you learn both about Mexico's history and Mexican culture.

Who can take classes?


Everyone. There is a class right for people of all levels and abilities.

Do I need to have dance experience?


No, that is why we are a dance school. If you do have experience than that will just help you in your development.

How do I sign up?


Come by the studio and fill out a registration packet and speak with one of the directors who will direct you to the class that is right for you or your child.

Is there a cost associated with taking classes?


Yes, there is a fee of $65.00 a month for two classes a week and a one time registration fee of $25.00.

Do I need to buy costumes?


No, you do not need to buy costumes. You will only be asked to buy personal items such as shoes, boots, earrings, etc.
